Account & Data Deletion Rights
Effective August 18, 2026
This page explains what personal data Intenshens holds, how long we keep it, and how you can request deletion or export of specific data — whether or not you want to close your account entirely. If you want to delete your whole account, see our account deletion instructions instead. For the full picture of what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Data categories we hold
- Account & contact info (name, phone, email)
- Identity verification documents and extracted data (if you're a verified experience provider)
- Location data (including private coordinates used for relevance and broad areas displayed on Sparks)
- Payment and transaction records for experience bookings
- Messages, Flames, Sparks Asks and Offers, responses, introductions, outcomes, and experience listings
- Photos and media you've uploaded
- Meet Now chat history (stored temporarily for 30 days)
- Device identifiers and usage/security logs
2. You can request, without deleting your account:
- A copy of your data — an export of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — if something we hold about you is inaccurate (e.g. an out-of-date phone number or incorrect profile information).
- Deletion of specific data— for example, removing specific Flames, photos, your location history, or Meet Now chat history, where doing so doesn't conflict with a legal retention requirement below.
To make any of these requests, email support@intenshens.com from your registered email address (or include your registered phone number) with what you'd like us to do. We'll verify it's really you before acting on the request, and respond within 30 days.
3. How long we keep data, and why some of it outlives your account
Most of your data is deleted or irreversibly de-identified when your account is deleted (see our account deletion page). Some data is retained longer where the law requires it, or where we have a legitimate ongoing need:
- Transaction records (experience bookings, payment history) — retained for a period after account closure to meet financial record-keeping and tax obligations, and to resolve any open disputes, refunds, or chargebacks.
- Identity verification records — retained where required for fraud prevention, especially for verified experience providers.
- Safety & moderation records — reports, blocks, and moderation actions may be retained to protect other users, even after the reported account is deleted.
- Meet Now chat history — automatically deleted after 30 days or when the chat ends, whichever comes first.
- Backups — data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period after deletion before being purged on our normal backup-rotation schedule.
